my favorite tights!

I absolutely adore these black tights for modern or jazz. I go to a performing arts high school and dance for 3+ hours a day in them and they are comfortable the whole time. Bloch are my favorite because, unlike capezio and body wrappers, they don't become too see-through when stretched. They also don't dig in on the hips like capezio do. I am 5'9" about 140lbs and I order a D very comfortably. They last a while, but not any longer or shorter than any other tights I've worn.

Waistband really tight! Durable

Nice tights - they haven't run or pilled in several wearings and washings, but the narrow elastic waistband is teeny tiny. It cuts me in half, leaving a very ungraceful line under leotards. Was thinking of cutting off the waistband and zigzag stitching a new self-waistband into these tights. Body Wrappers has a similar waistband but they are not as pronounced under leo's.

Too long tights

I'm 5'7" and curvy, but these tights in XL were waaaaay too long for me. And being too long means that they looked really uneven in coverage.

Go-to footless tight

For school, we have to wear a black leotard and black footless tights everyday unless we have ballet. I have been going there for the past 5 years, and have bought these tights every single time.
First of all, these tights are really comfortable. The material stretches nicely, and the waistband doesn't dig in. I am 5'4", 85 lbs, so I'm technically an A on the size chart. However, I like to order a B just so that there is extra room, and I don't have to worry about them being too tight for my very long legs.
Second of all, as I sometimes wear my tights over my leotard, the fact that there isn't a glaring white crotch panel is really nice.
Finally, these tights are SUPER durable! This is my 3rd pair, and I've been wearing them everyday for 5 years. Yup, each pair lasts me two years before it starts to get holes.
BUY THESE TIGHTS!!!!!!

Nt A Good Buy

These tights did not even make it one semester of dance for my high schooler. I ordered these 8/29/13 and it is 11/12/13 and I am having to place another order. The sad thing is the dance teacher only gives us the option of this exact tight or another. So I am in the process of ordering another pair. Not a happy consumer rt now.

I love these tights, they are very comfortable in the waistband and stay in place. I'm buying these from now on, I'm 5'3" 110 which put me right on the line between A and B, I got the B and they are great.

I bought these tights trying to find something that I like better than the traditional skate tights... I don't like how those tights run too easy and are always sliding or rolling down. These tights are great! they stay in place and the ankles will fit over the boot laces without running! If they are too tight for a dancer, try just stretching them out, they fit over figure skate boots without running so, they probably just need a bit of a workout to not be tight on the ankle. Love these tights! I am 5'5 and 170 the size D is perfect.

Best Tights Ever

Love these tights. They last so much longer than any other brand we've tried. My daughter has gymnast legs with defined muscles. She is 5 foot 7 and weighs 125 pounds. The size B fits her great-- hugs her legs without being too tight. Hope that helps regarding sizing :-).

These tights are great and they are named right. My daughter's do 3 hours of ballet a week plus they do acro before their ballet class once a week with their tights on. Other tights we've tried have ripped after two or three weeks. These last for months. My daughters say that they are comfortable too.

Love these tights. They're soft and comfortable, unlike other brands of long wearing tights I've tried. I'm an aerialist, and have a lot of muscle in my calves thighs compared to most dancers, but they fit awesome without binding. And they can't be beat for durability, I've had one pair for over a year now of regular wear. I also love that they come in light tan, as well as suntan... especially since they are thicker and a little more opaque than most tights.

Ankle Elastic Too Tight

I purchased these because I trusted the Bloch brand as I own their ballet shoes and dance sneakers and have been oh so satisfied. These tights are poorly designed: the ankle elastic was so tight I had to cut it off (and I have narrow feet). I bought size D hoping for extra comfort as I'm 5'5" and 128 lbs. and they are way too long as well as constricting in the calf/ankle area.

I have these in black. They are the BEST footless tights I have ever had. I can't get over how much better these are than Capezio's. The fabric is stretchy but also sucks you in. So far they're not showing any signs of wear (unlike Capezios, which rip in a week for me).
I am 5'5" 98 lbs and ordered size B, which fits very well. Summary: If you've been buying some other brand of footless tights, STOP NOW and get Blochs. Seriously. Who knew?
