I got the SM (small-medium) and it did not go past my thigh. I could not get the skirt past my behind. Tried to put it on from the top (the way you would put on a shirt) and it would not go past my chest either. This was not made for adults. Like another reviewer said, this might fit a skinny prepubescent child. For reference, in normal clothes size, I'm a size 2, and there was no way I could get that skirt on me. Not sure what to do with it now since you cannot return sales items.

FINE BUT THE WAIST IS TINY.
The small medium adult MIGHT fit a skinny 12 year old.
